Disappointed

I am extremely disappointed with this service. From the hassle of trying to get seen by a doctor to technical difficulties on their end to a horrible bedside manner doctor. I am sad that my insurance company has decided to go with this online health service.

Awesome Service

Dr. Leslie was fast quick to the point. I needed a refill and he was able to take care of me In a couple of minutes to get a refill on my prescriptions. two minute initial wait time which really was only about a minute to see a doctor. This is the second time using this app and both times they have been Fantastic.

Easy, convenient, and affordable!

Very pleased with this app and my experience. It was super easy to sign up, find a doctor, and I was able to get an appointment the next evening. My doctor was very friendly and helpful, and the cost is very reasonable and honestly less than you’d probably pay in a regular setting. Very grateful this exists!

Long wait times and no way to contact their support directly. You must email or leave a voicemail.

I have met 2 MDs from this app, and they are very nice and helpful! They are knowledgeable and they go extra mile to help. I’m impressed!

Unhelpful Doctors

I’m not sure who to blame this on but I was trying to get a specific medication and after doing the questionnaire on that companies website they told me I needed to use Health Tap to schedule with a doctor for the prescription. I followed all the steps and scheduled an appt for today at 4:30. At 4:27 the doctor cancels the appt and leaves the note “I don’t do *medication*”. I’m not sure what that means. Doesn’t use it? Doesn’t prescribe it? I scheduled and waited for this appt when the doctor could have canceled it when my appt was scheduled asking for that medication. First time using and won’t be using it again.

My first time using online Doctor, and I must say it was AMAZING. I didn’t expect the care and patient I got from the doctor being the first time using online but it was really great. They have great doctors, and I love the fact that you can message them after your session has expired and they will reply to your message immediately. Their follow up was great👍I spent less money, less time.. HealthTap team members were superb.. Keep the great work team!!!

Worst web site

The healthcare is great if you can get past their website doors to get in. I am so freakin tired of spending hours trying to reboot their website, change my password every time, and reload their app only to start another payment (double paying). I am so angry. Now I find I need to pay $180 to get back in touch with my doctor and all my info is gone.

Easy to use and a great doctor!

A very cost effective way to get medical care in a timely and convenient manner. My doctor is kind and takes the time to listen to my medical condition.

Answer is ok

Still not able to edit my name to add my insurance. Need to be able to edit name. People names changes like last name. Please update app to be able to edit this. My insurance adds my middle initial and being able to add that is very important.

Easy way to get a Dr. appointment!

I live in a rural area where finding a doctor who is accepting new patients is not easy. There were others apps I was considering but chose HealthTap because it allowed me to see providers and available appoint times prior to signing up. The monthly fee is reasonable, as is the cost for the appointment. My doctor, Dr. Lowther was wonderful and am looking forward to future visits.

Dr Harte is the best!

I first got HealthTap when I was moving to another state. I kept my subscription because of Dr. Harte! She’s amazing! I have a primary in my new town but it’s so quick and easy to make a connection to Dr. Harte! Most importantly I trust her.

HealthTap is so convenient and affordable

I have tried other online primary care services and had really horrible experiences, technical issues, 3rd party providers that were listed but not participating, a bunch of nonsense. I’ve had absolutely none of that with HealthTap. It’s FAR more convenient, and honestly even cheaper than traditional in-person primary care, insurance or no insurance. The doctor I was matched with has been great, too. I’m very thankful for HealthTap, and I hope it stays the way it is.

First time

This was exactly what I needed…. i’m a truck driver and it’s so hard for me to get in to see a doctor in person. I was a little skeptical at first, but Dr. Harte and I had a good conversation about my blood pressure. Which is the reason I went this route in the first place. Now, I know I can get my meds on time and still talk with a doc face to face.

Immediate appointment was available, with a nice 90 day trial. Saw doctor in 20 minutes after setting up trial monthly membership. Got an MD with 20 years experience. Very nice app!

No refunds

Paid $99 and no doc available. Had to use another app and saw doc immediately. Do not use this app.

Needed a doctor didn't have time

Time limit!

Seriously paying for a visit with copay that cost more than my usual in- person office visit. Then, to find out there’s a timer that automatically shuts off visit!!! My Dr. wanted to know something specific that I had to research into my online clinic documents but took me a few minutes to download the information. The visit shut off and I was not able to receive the antibiotic I needed. Now, I’m calling their app service # and leaving a message. I hope to receive a call back! Super frustrating. Ridiculous app!!!! Other than that the doctors have been great help!

Lyme Disease Diagnosed!!

This application is amazing. I’ve had it over several years, and it’s come in handy through some mini hard times. I woke up one morning with two rashes on me, and contemplated about going to urgent care. I did an urgent care visit through HealthTap, and was immediately diagnosed with Lyme disease. I was given a prescription for an antibiotic and continue to follow up with the primary care doctor through HealthTap. She’s amazing. Thank you so much

$4600.00 medicine prescribed vs $4.00 Antibiotic

Gave the Provider 5 stars after what I thought was a good visit only to find that he either unintentionally, or in a passive aggressive move, prescribed a $4600.00 medication vs. a $4.00 similar antibiotic. Very disappointed as I have no way to contact anyone regarding this … hence this post.

Excellent App and Service

This app made my experience from scheduling an appointment to prescriptions and assessment so incredibly easy! I would recommend this app and service to anyone either without or in between obtaining health insurance. This app is truly all-encompassing e.g., scheduling an appointment is simple, connecting virtually with a physician is private and professional, if prescribed meds, they are off to the pharmacy within minutes of the appointment closing, you have FREE access to text message with the doctor following the appointment, and this is among a myriad of cool attributes this app offers. This is hands down the very best app I have downloaded on my iPhone.

Technical issues?

Twice I have sat waiting for 20+ minutes to be connected to a doctor, after typing in a description of my child's symptoms. Twice it says it's connecting me...spins endlessly, says it will send me a text message to notify me when a dr is available. No text messages. Both times it says a dr was available, oops, sorry for the technical issues. Very frustrating when handling a sick kid

A good price and useful

So many options for the price. I wish they had more options for a pediatrician and someone who is available 24/7 I hate that no one works weekends it seems feels like that’s when I need someone the most. Ever have any problems customer support is amazing

Disappointing

I was pleased at the speed in which I was connected to a doctor however that was the only good thing I can say. I had my first telemedicine appt using this app. As a result of the appt I picked up the two medications prescribed however it did not resolve my issue. I woke up crying (about two hours after taking the medication) from acute ear pain then went to an in person urgent care that gave me prescription ear drops and more robust pain killers. I explained the same things to them as I did during my telemedicine appt. If there were additional and more suitable measures to be taken then why were they not? It defeats the purpose if I have to have two appointments for the same issue.

Okay, so I’ve had eczema on my hand for about a year now. I’ve tried treating it at home but it only got worse. Dr. Harte prescribed me some prescription strength ointment so I hope that works. I also spoke with her about some other issues I’m having and she was SUCH a great listener. I love her attitude towards practicing medicine and she does it the right way. Best doctor I’ve ever had the pleasure of speaking with (and I’m NOT a fan of docs usually.) She even sent me her notes about our visit as well as a Dr.’s note that I didn’t need but was nice anyway in case I did and forgot to ask or whatever. She even sent me a link so that I can understand my eczema better. I got 75% off my prescription at my LOCAL pharmacy with my prime membership which is AMAZING when you don’t have insurance! Love y’all, love Dr. Harte, keep it up, don’t change a thing. Finally someone figured out how to do healthcare right!!! ♥️

Medical scam!

First there ARE A NUMBER of FREE services you can use for this. Zoom, Skype, FaceTime, all are FREE— you or your insurance WILL PAY 80.00 per remote visit if you use this PAY APP! I can drive to my doctors office for 5.00! DO NOT GET SUCKED INTO USING AND PAYING for this app! It’s a scam for something you can get FREE! READ THE FINE PRINT!! It’s also got a WebMd feature- so you can self diagnose? Never EVER a good idea. This is one of those rip off Apps only silly ppl pay for. Even my DOCTORS were unaware of the cost per patient or visit using this. I deleted the app, called my MD told them, they stated they will discontinue the use of this app due to it 1- not being covered by most insurance (they don’t pay for apps!) 2) misleading advertising of a pay2use product they were told was FREE

Dissapointed

Doctor just said “I didn’t know what to do” I’ve talk to him not even 5 minutes for $45 without even getting any prescription or advice.. I neeed a REFUND!

I was very skeptical

But it was easy, incredibly fast and professional. Like many People I lost my job and health insurance this year. When I started having issues swallowing and realized I had to see my doctor I panicked at what it would cost.. I only tried Healthtap out of desperation and now I am really #*!!#$ mad at myself for all the money I spent at my regular doctors and insurance over the years. I took Healthtap’s $15 a month premium plan which has a $30 copayment. For a total of $45 I had a teledoc appointment, diagnosis and a prescription in about a half hour from the time I installed the App. before they canceled my policy because I couldn’t afford it, I paid almost $700 a month for health insurance, had a $8000 deductible that had to be paid before Florida-blue even paid a penny!! I spent almost $13,000 between premiums and deductibles last year and Florida-blue covered $0 and then canceled my policy for missing payment! Healthtap saved me from having to decide if I should go see my primary care physician and not eat or have electricity this month or hope the fact that I couldn’t swallow went away and didn’t kill me. Try Healthtap and screw you health insurance companies!!!!

Dr. came on and immediately ended appointment. Never even heard a hello. Called tech support, all they could do is offer me a form to fill out for a refund for my visit and if I still wanted to talk to a doctor, I was going to have to pay another visit fee. Not cool.

Unresponsive

THIS APP IS LIFE CHANGING! ⭐️

This app is brilliant, and especially helpful for people like me who are prone to hypochondria. It’s an easy way to keep track of your medications and physical conditions. The diagnostic AI is scarily accurate, the app is well organized with an easy user interface and you have the ability to browse past medical queries from other users. But the best part is the ability to get free personalized medical advice from doctors at any time as long as it fits in a certain character limit. The only feature I would suggest is a way to rate the doctors answers to your questions so they are further incentivized to be thoughtful and accurate! Overall the app is incredible and worth the download!

Canceling my prescription

I was sent a email from them, threatening to cancel my membership bc i called on a doctor 3 times with a 7 day period. In the term description, it states that you have 5 visits to use within a 7 day period, before they warn you about canceling your prescription. Which I don’t even think is fair if we’re paying do so every month.
